Ubisoft earlier hinted that the company has high hopes for the game and according to CEO Yves Guillemot, has a potential to become company’s best selling FPS game ever, even surpassing Far Cry 4.

Development of the base game is now complete. Ubisoft recently detailed post-launch content for Rainbow Six. The company plans on releasing four content expansions later in 2016. Maps and modes would be free while new characters and weapon skins will require ‘Renown’ to purchase. Renown can be accumulated by playing the game.

The game was initially set to release in October, but the launch was pushed back to December 1. Siege is coming for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
