In a questionable move that voluntarily puts their game behind such releases like Halo 5: Guardians and Star Wars Battlefront, Ubisoft has made the decision to delay the game until December 1st, 2015. Ubisoft spoke on the change this morning. 

The bug ridden alpha was still a success through popular Twitch streams

After a successful alpha test in the spring, Ubisoft seemed to be on track with making the appropriate bug fixes and balance changes needed to meet their September release window. With this move, the September 24th beta test will now serve as another bug test for the company instead of simply acting as an advanced screening since the original release date was just weeks after the September test.
