While they and their spoils are random, the rewards are fixed by region. Best of all, space-time distortions linger for a while, so you always have time to investigate before they vanish again.
What Are Space-Time Distortions in Pokemon Legends?
Space-time distortions are pockets of space where, well… space and time distort. They’re cut off from the rest of the region and subject to random bolts of lightning striking from nowhere. The electricity won’t hurt you, but it may cause something interesting to spawn.
Space-time distortions bring items and Pokemon from across dimensions, so you may find items unavailable otherwise in Hisui or rare Pokemon from ages past.
A message appears on-screen when a distortion begins forming. The formation process takes roughly a minute, and the whole thing stays around for five minutes or so. That’s plenty of time to get what you want from it. It’s also worth sticking around until the distortion fades, as you’ll sometimes find new Pokemon or items spawning.
And you’ll sometimes find nothing out of the ordinary. Space-time distortions can house rarities, but in my experience, it’s a 70/30 chance that they’ll just have higher spawn rates of nearby Pokemon and no items of particular interest.
