Among other new features, the free summer update will include what the press release declares “the most detailed fireworks simulation ever created for a videogame”. Fireworks displays can be edited to coincide with park events or be synchronized to custom music. To correspond with this new feature, the official Planet Coaster Youtube channel released a trailer showcasing a Walt Disney World-esque display of music and fireworks.
In addition to fireworks, the free update includes the new ability to place custom images and videos on wall panels and screens, as well as several new rides, roller coasters, scenarios, and scenery.
The free summer update is the third expansion for Planet Coaster since the game’s initial release last November. It will be available for download on PC starting June 27. Be sure to check back with GameSkinny for more Planet Coaster news.
